August 2026: IQ Score becomes portfolio-first

This month, IQ Score took a big step from a scoring tool toward a portfolio-first research platform.
Connect your broker, see the quality of the income assets you already own, discover Friends you may be missing, and track what changed this month.
Connect your Broker.
Link your broker and your holdings are imported automatically. You're notified when the import is ready, and your portfolio refreshes on a schedule — so positions you've sold drop out on their own. The directory currently lists more than 30 supported brokers. Manual portfolios keep working exactly as before.
A rebuilt My Tickers.
My Tickers is now your portfolio dashboard.
Manual portfolios, watchlists and connected broker accounts now sit side by side in one portfolio-first dashboard: Friend / Question Mark / Foe breakdown, filters and sorting, Change, Forward Yield, Cost Basis and P&L, detail panels, a proper mobile view, and a "Last synced" indicator.
Portfolio IQ Score.
One cost-basis-weighted quality score for a single account or all accounts combined — with coverage, the change over the past month, and how your capital is spread across Friends, Question Marks, Foes and Unscored positions.
Missing Friends.
Per broker account, see which Friends from the available universe you don't hold yet. Search, filter, sort, inspect, and add anything interesting to a watchlist.
More asset classes. Better scoring models.
BDC vNext is now live, with scoring built specifically for business development companies rather than adapting a generic model. REIT vNext is live as well, and Income ETFs have returned on a controlled universe. Together, these changes substantially broaden IQ Score coverage while making the underlying methodology more asset-specific.
